Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo – At the Marlowe

Dance Consortium presents Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo, a play that was initially established in New York, but has now become a world-wide phenomenon. The cast of ballet dancers, commonly abbreviated to ‘The Trocks’ has been taking the stage for nearly over 40 years and have delighting audiences, with their unbelievably synchronised dance routines and charming, humorous personalities.

 

Audiences of all ages can appreciate the talented men and their ability to transform into two personas, one male and one female. They put on their own sassy spoofs and homages to classical ballet dance routines, all whilst still coming across as relatable, down-to-earth performers. They parody the conventions of romantic ballet, their poses, posture and physical comedic pieces all intend to show off each of their performers’ technical skills and abilities.

 

If you and your housemates are up for a laugh or just want to head on over to the Marlowe theatre within the next few weeks, then be sure to check out this outstanding show that will undoubtedly keep you entertained. The show will be held on the 19th and 20th October 2018, and will start at 7:30pm on both days.
