Social Sevens this Sunday in aid of MIND!

May 24, 2019

This Sunday the finest of athletes at UKC will be taking to the hallowed turf on Parkwood Pitches to take part in the annual social sevens tournament, and YOU can get involved!

Rugby sevens is a lesser known form of rugby union, featuring seven players on each side, allowing for more flair, fitness and outrageous skills to come to the fore.

This year's tournament will hold around 16 teams of the finest talents, including the famous VK Allstars and the prolific Henry’s Hoovers. Anyone can enter a team and for just £2 per person (cash required). Drinks will be served on site in the pavilion, and there will also be a BBQ.

The event will be in aid of MIND, a charity that helps support those suffering from mental illnesses all across the UK, endorsed by UKC Men’s Rugby. You can find more about MIND here: https://www.mind.org.uk/

If you would like to enter a team please contact Giles Malcolm at gm429@kent.ac.uk
